+ Pix10 | Bugis Junction

Bugis Village Traffic Junction
Since we set-up shop at Bugis Village on 4th April 2006, I have been prowling around the area looking for set-up stuff for the shop that became in short supply, like cable-ties and metal brackets.

So strategicly located, Bugis Village is directly infront of the infamous Parco - Bugis Junction Shopping Mall. To the left of it is Bugis MRT where Raffles Hospital is located - my favourite TomYam with Fried Fish Noodle is waiting for me.

Further down Vistoria Street is the Queen Street Wholesale Market. A little further down, is the Sultan Mosque, the main, amongst numerous ones scattered throughout Singapore.

This entry is the scenes I saw and snapped, while shopping with my wife for the set-up of our shop.

  • Hello Wandi,

It is alright here, but I like it especially for its clean surroundings.

Yes, I hope so too. The shop is our investment that I wish to join her once stable and sustainable for two.

Thank you for the well wishes. Have a good week ahead.

  • Hello Ellen,

We have set-up our very own start-up little business called Chic Couture.

My wife - Azi, is selling ladies fashion jewelleries, mostly handmade from Asian countries - necklaces, bracelets, bangles, earrings, rings. Some are made from semi-precious stones and some with Swarovski crystals and simulated pearls.

It is the craze here in Singapore right now, but most are unique but classic in design that will not fade away with trend... hopefully.

The designs are always changing almost every month or two and new ones arrived to keep especially her regulars she has so far interested and keep coming back.

You may wish to go to her website at www.chiccouture.blogspot.com

So far, business has been quite alright, nothing super as more and more people are beginning to realize our shop in Bugis Village and are coming back again to be regulars.

Thanks for coming in and asking. Have a good week ahead!
